UPM is offering full time programmes to qualified candidates with STPM holder/equivalent, Matriculation/Foundation, Diploma holder/equivalent qualifications as UPM's Bachelor Degree entry requirement. In the meantime, SPM holder/equivalent qualification will be offered to Diploma programmes and Foundation for Agriculture Sciences.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
a) Academic Requirement
Master Degree Programme
The applicant should possess a BAchelor's Degree (with honours) in relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 ; or An applicant without sufficient academic qualification can be admitted into the programme subject to any other requirement specified by the Faculty. An applicant who is in the final semester of his/her undergraduate study programme may be considered an admission provided his/her current CGPA or equivalent fulfills the graduate programme admission requirements.
Doctoral Degree Programme
An applicant should possess a Master degree (with coursework) in a relevamt field with a minimum grade average of B-;or An applicant should possess a Master degree (with thesis) in a relevant field; or An application for provisioal admission may also be made by student who has submitted his/her Master's thesis for examination.
b) English Language Requirement
A Malaysian candidate must have obtained at least a credit in English at SPM level or have passed English courses conducted at the Diploma or Bachelor's level An International candidate from a country where English is not a medium of instruction must have a minimum score of 550 for TOEFL or band 6 for IELTS

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Universiti Putra Malaysia is pleased to announce that a new scholarship, the Putra Alumni Scholarship Scheme (PASS), is now open for application for the academic year of 2016/2017. This scholarship was created to encourage International UPM Alumni and their children to study at the graduate level in UPM as a form of loyalty scheme.

Master Full-time :1-3 years (2-6 semesters) Part-time:2-4 years (4-8 semesters) for local student and by reseach programme only
PhD Full-time:2-5 years (4-10 semesters) Part-time:4-6 years(8-12 semesters) for local student only

As of February 2013, UPM workforce is made up of 6,555 committed individuals in respective fields. Out of that, over 1,750 staff are academic officers and they include the Adjunct Lectures, Visiting Professors, Special Lecturers and Consultants.
Non-academic staff amount to 888 under the Management and Professional services, and 3,498 under the Support services.
Kelab Kebajikan dan Rekreasi Fakulti Perubatan dan Sains Kesihatan (KKRFPSK)
Activities conducted by the club include sports, social and welfare activities, entrepreneurship and spirituality activities. Among them are charity sales programs, Iftar Ramadhan, preparation of bubur lambuk, Faculty's Day Celebration, Family Day and many other interesting activities.The Welfare and Recreation Club, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (KKRFPSK) was established in 2005.
