LEAVE ENTITLEMENT
1. | The leave entitlement is according to the Public Academic Institution’s Academic leave is the absence of a candidate does not exceed 42 days for each academic session (one year); i.e. 28 days of recorded leave and 14 days of sick leave. This includes maternity leave. |
2. | Officers who carry out specific medical duties are given Special Medical Duty Leave amounting to 14 days a year as mentioned in (i) and (ii) is included in the leave that has been set by the University (reference: KKM.500-8 /2/23 Jld.3 (3) dated 23 December 2022). |

During the deferment period, the candidate’s leave entitlement is in accordance with the leave entitlement under Chapter C of General. |
4. |
During the placement at the Ministry of Health (MoH) hospital/facility, the MoH Department Head may consider and approve the application of unrecorded leave to attend relevant courses and examinations at universities subjected to HLP's conditions. |
DEFERMENT OF STUDY
1. |
Should a candidate require a deferment or extension of the duration of study, the candidate must submit a letter to the Dean of the Faculty through the Program Coordinator with valid reasons. |
