Facilities

The  department of Family Medicine has a teaching laboratory.  All the academic staff in this department are actively involved in research, holds several grants and collabrate with other agencies both  at national and international  level. The Family Medicine Laboratory was  established with the purpose of  stabilizing teaching and learning to  increase consultancy, communication and counselling skills among the   undergraduate and  postgraduate students of Family Medicine besides   supervisory activity . This  laboratory also aimed to ensure the  research training activity and joint research collaboration with other  agencies in family medicine are carried out smoothly. This  indirectly  contributes to research excellence. It also facilitates family medical  consultancy service activity.

The  family medicine laboratory is equipped with work space with  computers, office space, conference room,  two way mirror consultation  room with microphones and video camera.
