The  Department of Medicine was founded in 1998, when the first batch of medical students started the clinical program. The department is currently headed by Dr. Anim Md Shah who is also a Senior Consultant Nephrologist and Senior Medical Lecturer. The department is based in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UPM Serdang. The department provides clinical services to both Hospital Pengajar Universiti Putra Malaysia and Hospital Serdang

7. Infectious Diseases
8. Respiratory
9. Emergency Medicine
