The proposal to make a Coffee Table Book is one of the activities in conjunction with the 25th Anniversary Celebration of FPSK (1996-2021) Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia. This book aims to provide information on the history of the faculty to FPSK residents in particular and UPM residents in general. It serves to provide information and commemorate the history of the establishment of FPSK to the level of achievement until 2021. This FPSK Coffee Table Book can recall memories, experiences and memories from various angles to faculty members in the form of sheets that can be easily accessed by all parties. This book is completely finished and has been printed. Every member of the faculty needs to have a copy of the book to be used as a reference and memory throughout the ages. It is hoped that every member of the faculty appreciates the efforts of publishing the FPSK Coffee Table Book in conjunction with the 25th anniversary of the establishment of FPSK which is the first of its kind at FPSK.

INVITATION IN PURSUING MASTER IN ENVIRONMENTAL AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH, FACULTY OF MEDICINE AND HEALTH SCIENCES, UNIVERSITI PUTRA MALAYSIA

Master in Environmental and Occupational Health is program Master by coursework will expose students to the multi-disciplinary aspects of Environmental Health, Occupational Safety and Health which includes but not limited to global and local policy and legislation, toxicology, industrial hygiene, human factors and ergonomics, research methodology, management system and engineering aspects in the management of Environmental and Occupational Health.

This program is designed such that the graduates can further apply the acquired scientific and critical thinking skills to conduct research in their own workplace with minimal supervision to produce evidenced based decision.

  1. This is 1.5 years program with 3 semesters and all courses will be taught in English.
  2. Students will have to complete at least 43 credit hours to graduate that comprise of 15 credit hours core courses, 15 credit hours specialization courses, 6 credit hours elective courses and 7 credit hours research project. Class will be conducted after working hours on weekdays or
    weekend.

Application dateline:
To start on October 2023, applicants need to apply before 30 June 2023 (International students) and 31 July 2023 (Local students).

Dear all, the Department of Nutrition, Universiti Putra Malaysia offers a Master in Nutritional Sciences Programme by Coursework.

The Master in Nutritional Sciences program is a Master of Science by Coursework (MSKK) program that offers comprehensive advanced topics including Nutrition, lifestyle and non-communicable diseases, Global nutrition, advocacy and policy, Food legislation and regulation, Research methods and biostatistics in nutrition.

 

This full-time program is designed to provide advanced educational training that can prepare a better workforce as the landscape of understanding the relationship between nutrition and health changes rapidly. This course is also to produce nutrition professionals who have more knowledge, especially in the field of nutrition.

 

  1. This One-Year Program is a programme structured in three semesters and taught in English.
  2. Suitable for those who are working.
  3. Students need to complete at least 40 credit hours to graduate which includes 34 credit hours of compulsory courses and Dissertation, and 6 credit hours of elective courses.
  4. Classes are conducted after office hours on weekdays or during weekends.
